Danilo was lifted by Brazilian great Weverton after Casemiro’s dramatic victory over Switzerland in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In their most recent World Cup match against Switzerland, the Selecaos left it late. In the 83rd minute of the match, Casemiro scored with an amazing side-footed volley.
Danilo wanted to take part in the team’s celebration despite having a sprained ankle during the match against Serbia. He entered the team meeting by climbing upon Wevertin’s back.
With the victory, the Selecaos guaranteed their entry into the tournament’s knockout rounds. After two games, they now have six points.
